Sensei Scott is the main instructor of the MJN Karate Clubs and has been an instructor for over 12 years. Sensei Scott currently holds the rank of Sandan (3rd Dan Black Belt). Sensei Scott started Karate when he was 9 years old. Sensei Scott has started a family tradition whereby both his sister holds the rank of 1st Kyu (Brown Belt) and his daughter Mia holds the rank of Shodan 1st black belt as of Easter 2023
Sensei Alan hold the rank of 3rd Dan (black belt) which he was promoted to back in 2014. He has been a successful instructor of our sister club based in Hillingdon (All Saints church hall, Long Lane) he has taught many students throughout his teaching career and has been practising this style of Karate for over 35 years. Sensei Scott took over Sensei Alan’s legacy after lockdown in 2020 and has been running Hillingdon club since.
Sempai Billy has been an assistant instructor for over 15 years, starting his martial arts journey back in 1987. A vital part of the MJN instructors, originally helping in Sensei Alans classes assisting. He now assists with all junior grades as well as supporting in adult classes. He earned his 1st Dan in 2012. After undergoing a Major operation, refusing to give up despite the challenge, his determination and passion later led him to achieve his 2nd Dan at the 2025 Kangami Biraki.
Sempai David has been learning this exciting style of martial arts since the age of 10 and is the assistant instructor at the MJN Karate Clubs. David works along side Sensei Scott and teaching all ages from beginnings through to yellow belts. He successfully attempted his black belt in the summer of 2018 and the rank of 1st Dan. subsequently has now achieved and hold the rank of Nidan 2nd Dan black belt as off easter 2022.
